About This Project.
The stainless steel casting of the White Witch was designed by an Ireland artist sculptor. He handled the clay stag and silicone rubber and fiberglass molds of all of it. Then he made the inner core wax and sent the rubber, fiberglass, and wax originals to use for casting in stainless steel. The sculpture of the 'White Witch' is completed and the 14 silicone rubber and supporting fiberglass molds are made.
Cast in stainless steel 304 and weld all small pieces together after cast, and the cloth was mirror polished and the skin is a matte finish in the end.
The biggest advantage of the stainless steel sculpture casting process is that the mold has high dimensional accuracy and surface finish. It can reduce the post-processing work, just leave a little machining allowance on the parts that require higher welding cut details. Even some castings only have to be grind and polished without machining.
If a well-formed sculpture is not well cast, it will affect its artistic effect and not become a good work. On the other hand, if it is not a good sculpture, despite the high level of casting, It doesn't make much sense. Designers and craftsmen should cooperate closely. As sculpture artists or sculpture creators, they have always paid close attention to stainless steel sculpture casting, and have keen expectations for artistic casting.
