Bronze Maitreya Sculpture

The Maitreya statue represents the future Buddha in Buddhist tradition. Maitreya is believed to be the successor of Gautama Buddha and is associated with love, compassion, and the promise of a golden age of peace and enlightenment. This involves creating a wax model of the sculpture, covering it in ceramic shell, melting out the wax, and then pouring molten bronze into the shell. Once the bronze has cooled and solidified, the ceramic shell is removed to reveal the bronze sculpture.
