About This Artwork

The large monument sculpture was designed by a professor of Qinghua University Wang Weibo in 2010. Its height is 16 meters and weighs 20 tons. It was successfully installed in Liaoning province in 2010. This sculpture is shaped like a peacock opening screen and a rising sail. Its main body is stainless steel with white paint, which means that it is full of inclusiveness, compatible with eclecticism, and embodies the emerging economy, culture, and politics. Carrying the spirit and connotation of Bayuquan city construction, symbolizing the beautiful vision of Bayuquan's social and economic sailing!
