About this Artwork

Bronze Guanyin sculptures are very popular, and there is a tradition of worshiping Guanyin in Chinese history. The Guanyin Bodhisattva is a bodhisattva that observes (the people of the world) and is one of the four great bodhisattvas. He looks dignified and kind and often holds a clean bottle of willow. He has immense wisdom and supernatural power, great mercy and compassion, and universal relief for human suffering. When people encounter a disaster, they just call their name and go to salvation, so they call it Guanyin. In Buddhism, he is the upper Buddha under the seat of Amitabha, the leader of the Western Elysium. Together with the Da Shizhi Bodhisattva, he is the threatening Buddha around Amitabha and is called the Three Sages of the West.

This bronze Guanyin statue was forged by hand on a bronze plate. The finish is golden paint. While how to make it, please let me tell you as follows,

The manufacturing process of wrought bronze sculpture:

1. Clay model: According to the design plan, the same size clay modeling is required. Sometimes it is necessary to make a small draft and then enlarge it.

2. Turn over the mold: After the clay model is finished and confirmed by the client, the mold can be turned over. Here, it is generally made of plaster or fiberglass model.

3. Forging: Large-scale forged copper sculptures require beating the copper plate with an iron sheet. The use of a hammer and a hammer is the most important part of the entire copper forging process. Each master of copper forging has hundreds of hammers in various forms. Use these hammers to draw rugged lines on the copper plate.

4. Assembly and coloring: When the forging progresses to a certain stage, the forged copper plate can be welded and assembled by the fiberglass model, and then it can be polished and colored. After the coloring is completed, spray the maintenance paint. After finishing these operations, a forged bronze sculpture is finished.

5. Installation and maintenance. Shipping to the site for installation by a professional team.
