About This Sculpture
This metal deer sculpture is designed by Chinese artists and produced with color-coated stainless steel plates. It is 6m high and installed in Jilin Province, China. The sculpt of the sculpture is that deer running is a metaphor for local prosperity.
Deer in China has more meanings and symbols. Deer means health and love. In ancient times, it was regarded as a God, and people thought it could bring happiness and longevity. When the ancients married, the man gave the woman deerskin as a dowry to marry the beautiful girl. So it is also regarded as a symbol of love.
