About This Project
The red stainless steel sculpture, named sunrise, is now installed in Yingkou Information Technology Park, Liaoning Province. The surface of the sculpture is made of 304 stainless steel with carbon steel structure as support. The surface treatment adopts painting technology. The sculpture is 18 meters high and 36 meters wide. The sculpture simulates the shape of the sun rising out of the sea. It is similar to a half circle to form the red sun at half sunrise. Another set of horizontal bars symbolizes the coastline in space, so as to express the wonder of the slow rise of the sun in the horizontal plane. The red sculpture and the idea of sunrise echo each other, and also symbolize the light, beauty and hope that people expect.
