About The Carbon Steel Sculpture
To better publicize the theme of
Let Life Come to Nature at the 2014 Qingdao World Expo, and actively implement the concepts of
cultural creativity, technological innovation, and natural creation, the 2014 Qingdao World Expo International Sculpture Competition has invited outstanding people from all over the world. The artist examines and interprets Qingdao from an international perspective, and uses sculpture art to interpret and decorate the World Garden Fair, leaving Qingdao with a timeless and classic urban cultural heritage.
This carbon steel sculpture was designed by a turkey artist, for Qingdao international horticultural expo 2014. This sculpture was made of carbon steel and a rust finish. it was assembled by slide laser cut carbon steel plate, and modeling in computer software. Each slide carbon steel plate is separated. In the site installation, the technicians used special tubes and bolts to connect each of them to fix the main center tube. The carbon steel sculpture is an important part of the expo and won lots of attention due to its special design and rust finish in the park.
